Myslivecek, Josef

Josef Myslivecek (1737-1781), Czech composer, studied philosophy at the University of Prague, studied composition privately and played violin in a church orchestra, Prague, then studied in Naples, his operas were successful in Italy, his operas drew acclaim, and praise of Mozart, he composed operas, oratorios, symphonies, and chamber music.
