Mitropoulos, Dimitri

Dimitri Mitropoulos (1896-1960), Greek conductor/composer, studied at the Athens Conservatory and in Brussels, conducted Athens Symphony, Monte-Carlo Opera, Boston Symphony, Minneapolis Symphony, New York Philharmonic, and Metropolitan Opera. He composed concerto grosso for orchestra, suites, and chamber music.
