Menuhim, Yehudi

Yehudi Menuhim(1916-1999), American/British violinist, studied to play violin privately, he made his debut with San Francisco Symphony at the age of 7, subsequently he gave recitals in San Francisco, New York and Paris. After further study with George Enesco, he became a celebrity and embarked on a series of tours throughout Europe and US. He conducted and toured with his own orchestra and devoted much time to musical education. He is often considered to be one of the greatest violinists of the 20th century.
